This stay had such potential to be magical but the cleaning standards, insufficient heating (space heaters and small wood stove - additional wood is expected to be purchased), bumpy and not crisp clean bedding, very smelly dishwasher, dirty floors and rug, windows and doors that did not close properly and would blow open with wind, gap under entry door, insufficient lighting (no bulbs) in bedroom all made this stay very disappointing and uncomfortable. Concerns were expressed to hostess and most were attempted to be corrected. The morning of our last evening there, hostess offered to move us to another unit (offering to move our food for us while we would be out for the majority of the day? No thank you) but it was too late for a move just before we were leaving anyway the next morning. The unit needs attention and the cleaning efforts vastly improved. As great as the view was, it was not worth the cost and hassle to have remedies put in place.

We had a lovely stay, the accommodation was clean, spacious and very well equipped. The view onto the loch was spectacular and the calm weather helped. We had a quick (cold) swim in the loch and walked dogs on quiet road nearby. If your looking to get away from it all - this is the place.

we made beautiful memories here! Hazel was a super sweet host and met us very late at night to help us check in due to unforseen road construction

Fantastic place to chill out for a few days. The views from this house are absolutely stunning, with huge windows to take in the loch. We even saw an otter splashing around in the waters on our final night! Would definitely recommend staying here if someone’s looking for a peaceful getaway.
